Wachtel 1st woman through to semis at US Open

Kerri Wachtel ended Da'monique Davis' run through the Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) draw Friday at the 16th US Open Racquetball Championships in Minneapolis with a straight game victory, 11-6, 11-3, 11-8

The 2001 US Open champion, Wachtel will now face either top seed and two time defending US Open champion Rhonda Rajsich or Canadian champion Jennifer Saunders in the semi-finals on Saturday.

The WPRO quarter finals continues Friday evening with the semi-finals on Saturday.
