Top 4 seeds through to WPRO semis at US Open

Kerri Wachtel eneded Da'monique Davi's run through the Women's Professional Racquetball Organization draw Friday at the 16th US Open Racquetball Championships in Minneapolis with a straight game victory, 11-6, 11-3, 11-8.

Wachtel will now face top seed and two time defending champion Rhonda Rajsich, who defeated Jennifer Saunders, 11-4, 11-9, 9-11, 11-5, in an all-American semi-final on Saturday.

The other semi-final will be an all-Mexican battle, as 2nd seed Paola Longoria faces off with 3rd seed Samantha Salas Solis.

In Friday's quarter finals, Longoria beat Krystal Csuk, 11-5, 11-2, 11-6, while Salas Solis ended Kristen Bellows's dream of a US Open title in four games, 11-8, 4-11, 11-8, 11-1.

Salas Solis is the only remaining player not to have a US Open title to her name, as Longoria won in 2008, Wachtel in 2001, and Rajsich in 2003, 2007, 2009 and 2010.

You can watch the action via the IRT Network all tournament.
